Satyam Roychowdhury Foundation is a not-for-profit education society set up by the leading educationalist Satyam Roychowdhury, the Managing Director of Techno India Group.

Techno India Group believes it exists because of the people in the community that it strives to serve, and thus it maximizes the organisation’s overall impact on the society. The group has been incessantly involved in various community development programmes to make a significant difference in the society and to improve the overall quality of life.

Globalization has transformed India into an important base for production, manufacturing and the service industry. As the world is becoming more and more concerned about labour and environmental standards in developing countries, Indian companies need to pay a close attention to comply with the international standards. In today’s world, the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility is no longer limited to donations and charity events only. Many other organizations are doing those jobs for the society. The basic objective of Corporate Social Responsibility today is to maximize the company’s overall impact on the society and stakeholders. CSR policies, practices and programmes are being comprehensively integrated by an increasing number of companies throughout their business operations and processes. A growing number of corporates around the world feel that Corporate Social Responsibility is not just another form of indirect expense, but is important for protecting the goodwill and reputation, and also increasing business competitiveness.
